CO M P E T I T I O N Win

CO M P E T I T I O N Win a bespoke cocktail masterclass J’AIME HAS TEAMED UP WITH LANIQUE SPIRIT OF ROSE TO OFFER READERS THE CHANCE TO WIN A BESPOKE LANIQUE COCKTAIL MASTERCLASS AT ONE OF BIRMINGHAM’S COOLEST BARS, LOST & FOUND. Over the course of two hours, the VIP prize winner and five friends will enjoy creating delicious cocktails with their very own mixologist who will take them through a range of different serves. Lanique offers the cocktail lover huge versatility and the guests will be able to sample the signature serve of Lanique Rose and Tonic, a sophisticated twist on a G&T, to the more classic cocktails such as a Lanique Rose Mojito or a Lanique Negroni. Enjoyed for more than 200 years by European aristocracy, Lanique is a distinctive spirit liqueur, made to an original recipe that uses thousands of hand-picked rose petals, giving Lanique its natural rose taste and aroma. The luxurious drink was first enjoyed in the Kingdom of Prussia and Austria where it was much favoured and enjoyed by the elite at celebrations and grand balls, sipping it neat in small tasting cups. Legend has it that Lanique was created by a princess who owned a distillery close to her castle in what is now modern day Poland. The origin of the name is lost in the mists of time but became synonymous with luxury and sophistication. Lanique is distilled from Attar of Rose, which is a liquid as valuable as gold. This exotic ingredient is created by steam-distilling thousands of hand-picked rose petals that are sourced from the East. The Attar of Rose is then added in a slow, multi-part process with carefully selected sugars and a neutral fine grain spirit. The rose petals provide the vibrant and bold pink colour and Lanique is best enjoyed with tonic water as an alternative to a gin and tonic - Lanique Rose & Tonic, as a champagne cocktail - Lanique Rose Royale, or enjoy a refreshing Rose Summer Spritz which combines Lanique, prosecco and tonic water. Lanique is priced at £23 for 50cl and from £29 for 70cl. Stockists include Harvey Nichols, Amazon and The Drink Shop.
